Luxair provides, for the first time, its most precious asset: its brand, its colours, the livery of one of its aircraft - in order to raise awareness among its staff, passengers and communities.
Luxair has replaced the blue colour of its logo on one of its aircraft in favour of an orange colour, symbol of this action set up by the United Nations more than twenty years ago.
As of 25 November 2020, the Luxair's De Havilland Q400, registered LX-LGE, has been unveiled in a special livery and will carry the associated message across Europe.
The periods of confinement resulting from the current health situation lead to a potential increase in all types of violence against women and girls, especially domestic violence.
Such violence can be psychological, physical or sexual and affects women, girls, men and boys from all social classes, nationalities and ages.
According to the United Nations World Organization, more than one in three women in the world suffers physical or sexual violence from an intimate partner in the course of their lives.
