PARTNERSHIP WITH THINK PINK
Luxair is once again showing its commitment to support a cause that is dear to its heart during October. October is known worldwide as Pink October, a movement created in order to raise awareness and to promote actions related to the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer. To raise its voice on the topic, Luxair has partnered with Think Pink, a Luxembourg non-profit organisation created by volunteers supporting women living in Luxembourg with the day-to-day reality of cancer. Think Pink has been pursuing many actions in order to support women such as sharing information, offering a support group and creating events to enlarge its community and raise funds for the cause.

WHO IS LISA JUNIUS?
Luxair has adorned itself with pink colors as a way to give strength to the campaign for awareness, and has done so in collaboration with Lisa Junius. Lisa Junius is a multidisciplinary artist from Luxembourg, working on all kinds of mediums. Her art highlights fine arts from illustrations to designs: Oil painting, sculptures, ceramics gouache illustrations or silver jewelry. This time for Lisa the canvas is bigger than what she is used to, always reflecting the artist’s universe of women, perfectly in line with the Pink October cause. Both Luxair and Lisa Junius have changed temporarily their most important assets, their colors, from blue shades to pink.

RACE FOR THE CURE 2022

What’s it all about? The Race for the Cure® is the world's largest and most successful education and fundraising breast cancer event ever created. Once again, ThinkPinkLux in collaboration with ThinkPinkEurope will be organising a Race for the Cure® in Luxembourg. The event is a non-competitive walk or run to celebrate life, show support to survivors and remember those who are unfortunately no longer here. Getting out on the day, walking or running is the easy bit, harder is that participants are required to raise funds for projects in research, education or that directly support those with cancer. Funds raised in Luxembourg will remain in Luxembourg and go towards our research project at the Luxembourg Institute of Health.
